I’m totally spent today (making great new products and sourcing some sustainable new packaging!), but I just wanted to share something I found on The National Film Board of Canada website today. An amazing interactive video about the Great Lakes…unfortunately, these mammoth freshwater lakes are in serious peril. I have this “thing” for wetlands, and actually found this incredibly emotional to watch.

I'm sometimes asked why my products specifically target the effects of city-life. It's pretty straight-forward: skin has the simple (yet paramount) task of being your body's barrier from the outside elements. It's naturally doing a good job, for certain, but many of those elements that it's protecting you against?  Those aren't natural. Your skin's natural defenses can only take so much abuse. You are wearing a coat of armour for a whole other kind of battle.

"Weathering" happens to everything. It's the law of the universe that all things naturally lean towards chaos and destruction. (It's called entropy, but let's not get too nerdy right now.)
