Are you a natural skincare rebel?

We are.

Because we are made for city living...meaning our products are formulated to counteract pollution, UV, insane weather and even stress, late-nights and too much caffeine! This is achieved with our careful selection of all-natural, vegan, highly bio-active ingredients that are rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. We don't use the most obscure or exotic ingredients; we just use what works. We also know a thing or two about aromatherapy, so you know our products smell pretty amazing! 

We're also rebels because Stark Skincare stands in stark contrast to conventional skincare with its harmful and uber-cheap filler ingredients. We also stand in stark contrast to the bland hippie-dippie farmer's market products, even though we still hand-make every. single. product. right here in Montreal!

We know you deserve simple yet effective products that treat ALL your senses, heal your skin and make you feel amazing. However, we also believe that skincare isn't everything, and passionately promote a healthy lifestyle, the true key to the best skin of your life. 

I know this first-hand, because at one time my skin sucked. I never had acne as a teen, but in my early 20s, living a stressed-out student lifestyle in the city, I started to break out or just look kind of blah all the time. Worst of all, it seemed NOTHING would help my skin! Having worked in the natural foods industry, I started experimenting with single-ingredient products, and soon I was mixing up my own formulas. Not only that, but I learned to calm down, relax, and truly take care of myself. You know? It worked. My skin healed, and has been pretty great since.

Stark is also run by my husband, Adriano, who is a PhD candidate at McGill University in BioPhysics. He’s more on the technical, analytical, math-y and graph-making side of things, so although you’ll hear from him less, rest assured that my handsome partner is working hard to keep this ship running tight.

So, I can’t tell you exactly how excited I am about Stark’s ever-evolving line of all-natural skincare, but let’s just say I’m pretty freaking excited about it. I had set out to create a cult-brand that women and men alike would love, and little by little, this reality is unfolding (thank YOU!)
